Black Forest began in the early 1990's with two sisters, Barbara Gresser & Colleen Doerrhoefer, who fell in love with the weimaraner breed.  Over the years through careful breeding, they have worked to create the very finest in Weimaraner bloodlines, with emphasis on conformation.

Currently, Barbara is beginning agility and ratings, while Colleen is experimenting in the field aspect of this versatile breed.

Barbara and Colleen are both committed to ensuring that the Black Forest lineage is comprised of only the finest weimaraners in show, field, and obedience in the United States.  Great effort has been made to utilize only those dogs which exemplify excellence according to the standard set forth by the American Kennel Club.
